Pen Battleship USS Wisconsin BB-64 Ballpoint Made from Authentic Teakwood Deck - Unique Military Gift & Collector's Item

$89.00

This pen, crafted from authentic teakwood taken from the deck of the USS Wisconsin BB-64 battleship, showcases a unique blend of history and functionality visible in its rich wood grain and sturdy metal accents. Perfect for collectors and military enthusiasts, this ballpoint pen offers a distinctive writing experience unlike any ordinary pen.

Hand-turned from genuine teakwood, this pen measures approximately 5.5 inches in length, providing a comfortable grip and smooth ballpoint ink flow. The durable construction ensures longevity, while the authentic wood brings a tactile warmth and character that metal or plastic pens can’t match. Designed as a meaningful military gift or a standout collector’s item, it poses no maintenance difficulties beyond gentle cleaning to preserve the wood’s finish.

Owning this pen connects you to a piece of naval history, inspiring pride and admiration with each use. The natural texture of the teakwood combined with precise craftsmanship makes writing feel intentional and special, elevating everyday tasks into a moment of reflection and appreciation for heritage.

Order your USS Wisconsin teakwood pen today to add a unique, authentic piece to your collection. Limited quantities are available—each pen comes with personalized care instructions and friendly, responsive customer service to ensure your satisfaction. This pen was turned from the Teakwood deck of USS Wisconsin (BB-64). The Wisconsin was the second Iowa class battleship to be commissioned, and served honorably throughout the Pacific in World War II, Korea, and Operation Desert Storm. As I turned the beautiful piece of Teak, the shop filled with an aroma that can only be described as old. All sailors know that ships have souls, and though the ship is gone, her soul lives on.

The aged old forest tree specimen has vibrant and rich grain to it, and I buffed it to a high gloss finish. The pen kit is nautical and made from antiqued brass. It is the perfect gift for a Navy veteran, like myself, or for anyone who loves sailing, the ocean, or things with a historical past. The pen has a solid and heavy feel to it. It uses Parker style refills, which are widely available. It ships in the gift box shown in the photos, along with certificate of authenticity explaining the origins of the wood. By default, I engrave "USS Wisconsin (BB-64)." You may add to that via personalization.
